Acupuncture is a minimally invasive method to stimulate nerve-rich areas of the skin surface in order to influence tissues, gland, organs, and various functions of the body.
Each acupuncture needle produces a tiny injury at the insertion site that signals the body to respond. This response involves stimulation of the immune system, promoting circulation to the area, wound healing, and pain modulation.
Your appointment will take approximately 1 hour (first time appointments can take an hour and half for full intake and any nerve or muscle testing that may be needed)

As crazy as cupping looks, it actually feels quite amazing. Most describe it as a massage type feeling as the cups pull the fascia up and away from the muscles increasing circulation in that area and allowing the muscles to relax.
Cupping has become quite popular in the past decade here in America, but it has been used for thousands of years in Asia. Cupping promotes blood flow to compromised areas, enhances circulation and helps to increase the body's own healing processes.
For those that are nervous about acupuncture, cupping is an amazing alternative to treat pain, move Qi (Chi), and detox the body.
Your session will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Please wear loose clothing. Females: Please wear a bra that can be unstrapped if I'm working on your back.

Right beneath our skin running from head to toe is a connective tissue called Fascia pronounced (fah-sha).
Ideally, your fascia is healthy and therefore malleable enough to slide, glide, twist, and bend your body. But as we become older and more sedentary, our fascia begins to become sticky and tight, pulling the skin down and forcing adipose tissue up (causing dents and dimples commonly known as cellulite.)
Cupping and Gua Sha helps stretch and relax the hardened connective tissue beneath the skin promoting healthy circulation of nutrient-rich blood, rejuvenating the skin and underlying tissues, increasing elasticity and reducing the dimpled appearance of cellulite.
Cupping for Cellulite can take up to 6-10 treatments depending on the severity of your case, therefore I recommend this be done in a series weekly or bi-weekly. The procedure will leave your legs slightly red for a few days post treatment and you may have circular cupping marks as well for a day or two.
This treatment is always followed up with Red Light LED therapy to increase collagen production.
*Cellulite Cupping is much more intense and labor intensive than regular cupping and may leave you with bruises post treatment. You will receive topical herbs to take home post treatment to speed up the healing process and reduce inflammation. *
